Ali Embury Make-up Artist

Ali Embury is a professional Make-up & SFX Artist and licensed cosmetologist based in Los Angeles. She is currently a free lance makeup artist for film, television, commercial, music videos, print, and events with over 9 years of professional experience. Ali holds a Masters in Make-Up Artistry from the Make-Up Designory school (MUD) in Burbank, CA, where she received her professional, education, and training in Make-Up, Hair, and Special Make-Up Effects. She is experienced in most aspects of applying and creating custom prosthetic make-ups, including life casting, mold-making (stone, fiberglass, resins, etc), sculpting, running silicone, foam latex, gelatin, and prosaide transfers, make-up application and painting. Before she attended MUD, Ali has been practicing the craft of body painting, special effects, and beauty makeup for many years. She started off going to hair school, doing theater makeup, all aspects of painting, and pottery at Fairport high school in New York. Ali's goal is to join the union and to create iconic characters.
